Joliet Metallurgical Laboratories was started in 1956 by Drs. W.H. Mullen and R.M. Geist, Jr. to meet the metallurgical testing needs of industrial, aerospace, and government clientele. Since its' inception, JML has been an industry leader in the field of metallurgical testing becoming the largest facility of our kind in the United States.  Our lab offers over 300 test stands which can be utilized for stress rupture, creep, and creep rupture testing.  In addition, we offer tensile testing and a NADCAP approved machine shop.
